Easy
I enjoy making new DIY projects for the holidays, since I have a whole lot of wood slices in different sizes laying around, I needed to find something to do with them! I decided to make a Wood Slice Garland. It is pretty simple to make!!
Materials to craft your wood slice garland!
Collect wood slices, preferably around the same size. Paint the middle with a foam brush using chalkboard paint, or be fun and use a bright colour! Drill a tiny hole slightly above the painted area. (Do this to all wood slices you plan to use) Give the paint a day to dry and then you can write your favourite holiday saying :)
Cut and twist wire through each hole, this will help keep the jute rope in place once the garland is hung.
Slide jute rope or ribbon through each wired hole. Measure and space each wood slice along the jute rope to make sure everything looks even. Twist the wire once to secure the jute rope in place.
Tie a loop at the end of the jute for hanging! Now your finished ;)
TA-DA!!! It's that simple!
