I absolutely LOVE minimal decor and Scandinavian design but I DO NOT love the price tag that often comes with these decor items. I was inspired to make this candle holder as a gift after seeing it in one of my favorite catalogs. This candle holder makes a great centerpiece or even and Advent candle!!
I started with 1 extra large doll head, and 4 large doll head from the craft store. They are flat on the bottom so that helps them stay upright. I also uses several different sized wood beads, with holes already pre-drilled in them.
For the larger doll heads that would become my candle holders, I predrilled a hole all the way through, then used a spade bit to make the hole big enough to hold a taper candle.
After everything was drilled and ready to go I threaded each piece onto leather cording in a pattern I was happy with then knotted each end. I stuck my taper candles in and made sure they were a snug fit.
