Faux Marble Table Runner

Easy
This Christmas my table setting is a mix of vintage and modern with fun pops of color that nod to the traditional red + green. It's a simple setting that all began with one of my favorite elements on the table, a faux marble table runner made with contact paper.
You won't believe just how easy this project was to make. Click the link above to get the full tutorial on how to make your own.

Love it..was it because you couldn't paint? And did it leave and glue behind? I've thought of doing that on the wall.. But was not sure how it stay

Contact paper table runner...if the first couple of inches were wrapped under the ends of the table to secure it, how do you reroll it to use again? Wouldn't you need to cut off those ends, or they'd be sticking to itself as you roll? That would make the runner too short to fit on the table next time, so how do you handle the rerolling part?

It held up for a couple years except for thin or small areas they tend to peel up but their easy to make over
  • ...I love your Russell Wright dish...I had a whole set, it met an unfortunate end in a move. :( But I do still have two or three pieces of it. I also like your post and idea of the table runner.
    • @Shelby @ The Weathered Barn Studio Oh, Shelby! How tragic... Yeah, I had an entire collection but sold it in my shop before I realized my love for his classic design :( All I have left is a few platters and odd bits. Of course now that I want it, it's nowhere to be found.
