Queen of Spades Pattern

I have to say that working with colored pencils is kind of a new thing for me. I tend to work mainly in acrylics where color is concerned. But lately, I've noticed a whole trend toward adult coloring books. Filled with amazingly detailed drawings, these fun coloring books are very captivating.
I decided to create my own design based on a pattern that I did about a year ago, The Queen of Hearts. The Queen of Hearts was done in acrylic paint on a table top. She is one of my more popular premium patterns.
This project can be completed on any wooden surface. I used a wooden tray.
You can find the free downloadable pattern at the link below!
Begin by printing out the pattern. Flip it over and color with back side with charcoal. Turn it right side up and place it in the center of the wooden tray. Use a pencil to trace over the lines (transferring it onto the wood). If you do not want to do the charcoal method, you can always use tracing paper.
Once the drawing has been fully transferred, it is time to add some color!
