Outhouse Themed Bathroom
by

(IC: blogger)
I was a Girl Scout growing up (now a lifetime Girl Scout) and each member of our troop had a cute nickname. Mine was Outhouse Sam. Basically, I was the only girl that would use the outhouse by the camp site on one of our trips, and one of the dad's kept calling me Sam, so I became Outhouse Sam!
When I bought my own house I was so excited to have the freedom to theme all the rooms. I thought 'Outhouse' was just too perfect for my guest bathroom!

Connie K on Mar 10, 2016As a member of a much older generation when these were still very much in use in rural areas, I want to know where the Sear catalog is. Catalogs, old phone books, and other types of free paper items were used as TP back before rolled paper was so readily available. To add an authentic touch (and see how old your guests are) hang an old phone book by a chain or hang it over an old coat hanger on one of your planks where your jars and hooks are mounted. Just a touch of whimsy!

It's nice for sure... but it doesn't remind me at all of an out house lol
