Chalk Painted Vintage Suitcases.

I am a big fan of vintage suitcases. Many of them should really just be left alone, like these ...
or especially these ...
But I am not so fond of the look of these ...
So I like to paint these to give them a little more character. I've used milk paint, Fusion paint and chalk paint on this style of suitcase and have had good results with all three ... but in this case (pardon the pun) I went with chalk paint.

I used some stencils to add a little extra pizzazz.
So, if you have similar suitcases lying around and you just aren't that fond of how they look, give painting them a try!

    Great Idea! They look amazing!! I have some of my moms old suitcases but they have mold on them & stink!! Any suggestions on how to get that out of them?
