A ten minute craft any one can do with Dollar Tree or Dollar Store items. Please visit my blog. I would love your comments there too! Thank you for your support!
As you can tell at my web site I love easy & frugal crafting. A few years back I created this scarf basket idea that went crazy on Pinterest. You can view that original post here. It went on to be my most viewed Pin from my site ever in the history of my site & my Pinterest. Go figure. I thought it time to do a new post on this and show it brand new all over again. This time I call this basket Spring Fling!
All you need:
So you just take your scarf and weave it up and over. This is so easy. Make sure when you start you leave a couple of inches or so hanging out to tie later when you come back around.
Be sure to puff up and out your scarf a little so it is not totally flat. This helps fill it in nicely. I would do this once you have weaved around the basket first not as you go because it will mess up as you weave. -
For all the rows I just weave it to the start point then take the two ends and tie it once and weave back in the rest of the hang that's left. You can stop on any row you wish for your basket. I think just three rows on this looks great as is but I will do all four rows to show you as well.
