My need to organize lots of LITTLE things in my daughter's new playroom (ex: crayons, beads, stamps, etc.) led to my desire to make smaller bins work in my IKEA Exepdit without having to stack them. My solution? With a few simple supplies I turned a row of 4 large cubes into 8 medium sized cubes - perfect for all her little treasures!

Rather Square on Feb 04, 2014Great hack! This is already a nice bookshelf, so customizing it further really adds to the functionality. We have an Expedit in our office that could use this kind of extra shelving: http://www.rathersquare.com/2014/02/designing-our-home-office/
