Giving Craigslist Chairs Farmhouse Charm!

I bought two s chairs for $10 each on Craigslist to go with our existing Farmhouse style table that we have had for several year.
The finish on the two chairs was nearly gone but they were sturdy and the rush seats were really good shape. I gave each chair two coats of the same black latex paint that I'd used several years prior on our dining table.
Next I lightly sanded the entire chair frame with a fine grit sanding SPONGE until the finish was silky smooth and no longer had any shine from that semigloss latex paint. I used really light pressure and a circular motion with the sanding sponge.
So for $20 and some leftover paint we've jazzed up out kitchen dining area!
