Easy Christmas Flower Ornament | Recycling Craft
Here's an inexpensive, budget friendly and beautiful way to make Christmas decorations! Make a flower ornament out of recycled toilet paper rolls! You can see the video tutorial at the end!
Flatten the toilet paper roll.
Cut five pieces that are approximately 1/2 inch in width. No need to measure, just eyeball it. You just want them to be approximately the same size.
Glue them together using hot glue, or other glue.
Now it should start looking like a flower.
Paint it all red with red acrylic paint.
Once dry, use a clear drying glue or Mod Podge and brush all over everything.
Sprinkle red glitter on the glue or Mod Podge. You can use a chunky or fine glitter. Both look great, they just have a different look.
Once dry, use your hot glue to add glass marbles to the center of the flower.
I did three.
Use a hole punch to put a hole through one of the petals.
Add a think ribbon and a knot. I like to put a dab of glue on the knot, so I know it won't untie or pull through.
