Yardstick Crate for Mason Jars

My husband found some clearance rack Mason jars ( they were misprints) so I was inspired to make some sort of holder for them .
My husband scored a great value! these were misprints from the factory. I was thrilled!
My husband helped me cut up the yardsticks and some other leftover wood
We used tiny finishing nails because I was afraid the wood would split and hubby helped by holding the corners square while I hammered
I found some left over stain and just wiped some on with an old rag to make the wood look a little older
Wanted a simple statement on the kitchen island
All done. I love it and it took less than an hour.
Enjoyed the project?

Mary Njus on Feb 16, 2017Some pasta sauce brands come in mason jars that can be reused. Not that I would ever serve my family jar sauce! Lol! Hey jar sauce allows for more craft time! Love the project. Thanks for sharing!
