This is a quick and easy way to make an Easter "Basket" out of recycled jar!
I began this project by cleaning my glass jars. I used a mix of pickle jars and bullion cube jars. First I scraped off the labels and then removed the sticky residue using Goof Off. Then I ran the jars & the lids through the dishwater on the extra hot cycle. I glued the knobs on top of the lids using E6000 glue.
Next I painted the lids twice using pastel colors above. I did two coats to assure good coverage.
I added an assortment of grass and candies depending on the size and shape of each jar. Some of the larger jars got a chocolate bunny and the smaller ones got a mixture of the jelly bird eggs and Lindt Chocolates.
On one of the jars I left off the knob and glued on a chocolate bunny to the top.
One jar got a pretty white ribbon.
Most of the jars got a little raffia bow for added decoration. My favorite jar has a yellow lid and knob. I added some grass, and lined the chocolate chicks around the perimeter of the jar and filled the rest with the jelly bird eggs. So sweet.
I think the Easter jars turned out pretty cute! All of the materials except for the candy and grass I had on hand. These will make such cute little Easter gifts for my neighbors. For more ideas click here!

So sweet! A keeper! Saving. Thinking would also be changed up to be party favors for other holidays or occasions. đź‘Ť
