A few months ago I started my YouTube channel and for that, I shot a video on how to grow an indoor succulent garden. That's when I created this vintage suitcase planter for growing succulents and everyone just loved it.
Take a cardboard box if you are planning to use this vintage suitcase as a decor piece but if you plan to make a planter then take a plastic container instead.
Paste plain white paper on the box to cover it completely from outside and cover the inside with plastic wrap to make it water resistant. Skip this step if you have taken plastic container. Now make few holes at the bottom only if you are planning to use this vintage suitcase as a planter.
Cut thin strips of cardboard and paste them along the edges of the box and in the front as shown in the picture. Watch the video for detailed instructions.
Using polymer clay or M-seal do the detailing as shown in the picture. Add drawer handle using strong glue. Let it dry.
Now colour the box in your choice of colour using acrylic paint. The vintage suitcase is ready and you can use it in many ways. Happy crafting!!
Hope you all like the video.

I love this! I would make this as a plastic keepsake box. I’d want everybody to see the lid. Great ingenuity. 😇
