Okay I will admit it. Sometimes I cover the burners with those Dollar Tree burner covers and then, I sometimes burn them.

It happens when the pot is larger than the cover and I forget to check.

Now I won't be able to. I found 2 10-inch and 2 8-inch lids that not only cover them to keep them clean, but have handles so I can't set anything on them. Win Win!
You can even see the burned mark on the back left.
You can even see the burn mark on the back two.
Now it's impossible to hurt them and I can't set anything on them. When I find one that is metal I will relegate the glass one to just doing basted eggs!!
Suggested materials:
  • 4 pan/pot lids   (Goodwill)

Thanks! I really do believe that old saying the necessity is the mother of invention. I was sick of buying burner covers!!
