Candle light and the ambiance that it creates cannot be replicated in any other way. One of the best ways to create a romantic atmosphere is to place a candle in a beautiful candle holder you made yourself. Here are a few ideas
1. DIY candle holders from tea boxes - just get a candle that fits in the box of your choice. This is the easiest project. The only hard part is finding the boxes that are as pretty as these!
2. Old Wine Bottles. Cut the bottom of the bottle c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y! In the article below you can find a video pointing you the right way.
3. Sea shells, rapana and other beach inspired objects could also serve as candle holders.
4. Lace Candle Holder - I have devoted a separate hometalk post for this: http://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/christmas/how-to-make-a-lace-candle-holder-2737104
5. Placing the candles near a mirror - a great idea to reflect some light and double get an even more dazzling result.
