My husband gave me a Chalk Couture (Chalkology)kit for Christmas. One of the items in the kit was a shadow box. I've wanted to do a shadow box for awhile. So I was pretty excited. I had been down for 9 days with the flu. I felt so bad that I wasn't even up to doing crafts. I finally felt better so I decided to work on it today.

I went to Hobby lobby right after work to get my supplies. I had a few ideas in mind. I first went down the Christmas aisle. All of the Christmas decorations etc were 90% off. I found a bag of large glittery snow. Perfect! Then I needed card stock and peel and stick letters. Everything I purchased was on sale! It only cost me $3.79 plus tax to make. I went home and got out all of the other supplies.
Supplies.
I took off the back of the shadow box. I layed it on top of the card stock and drew around it. I then cut out the cardstock square. I used double sided tape to attach the cardstock to the back piece of the box.

I then took one of my Chalkology snow flakes transfers and applied white chalk paste to it. I transfered 9 snow flakes onto the cardstock. I really like this paste and the transfer. You have to work quickly because the paste dries really fast.

I took my blue glitter peel and stick letters and spelled out Let it Snow Snow Snow on the outside of the glass.

I poured the snow into the box. I put the back piece of the box back on.

I'm debating on putting fairy lights in the back. I need to live with it for awhile. I think it would look nice with the lights in the back.
