You can create a fairy garden around a tree in your backyard for a fun and inexpensive project. First I built an area by placing rocks and soil around a tree with an interesting root structure. I planted Impatiens Flowers in the soil and then I purchased cute fairy garden figurines, rocks, moss and gems at Dollar Tree to complete this project.

I found a fun spot in the backyard that would be nice for a fairy garden. A tree with an interesting root structure is the perfect spot. I planted Impatiens Flowers in the area.

I gathered my supplies of rocks, gems, moss, and fairy garden figurines.

My kids helped me arrange the supplies around the tree area to create a little village within the flowers. They also added interesting branches and leaves from the yard. It was a fun family project!

It turned out super cute and will be fun place for the kids to continue to create and play this summer. I love the whimsical houses and figurines you can find at Dollar Tree. It makes this a very budget friendly project.
