I found on Pinterest a solar chandelier idea. I'm always looking for ways to add light in the backyard since we spend many evenings relaxing on the deck during the summer.
I found a brass chandelier at the Restore store for only $5.
Then I purchased some lamp parts to be able to hang it which weren't as cheap as I thought they'd be. Then I purchased some flat black spray paint and painted it.
I found solar lights on sale 2/$4. I had to find ones that would sit down flush in the chandelier. I got lucky and the ones I bought fit great.
I found super glue was the easiest way to attach the solar lights since it was metal to plastic.
Then it was ready to hang and enjoy!!

Brandon Siler on May 23, 2015Why do people keep putting solar chandeliers under trees? Do they still recharge like they would in full sun?
