Personalized Side Table
I found this cute table at a yard sale. I forgot to take a picture but it was a light oak finish.
I sanded the table and used white linen chalk paint on the table and then decided to paint the legs black
It took multiple coats of each paint.
First I tried the technique where you print the picture and reverse it on the table with mod podge transfer medium. I Did not like that at all. In fact I disliked it so much I think I deleted the photo😩. It was sort of yellow. So I sanded the top and started over with color photos that I simply mod podged on. This I liked.
I ordered a piece of glass with beveled edges to protect the top. I replaced the knob with a shiny new one. I love the result. It will be a Christmas present for my daughter and family.
I think a personalized gift is the best kind of gift although it is tricky to choose furniture for another. I hope she likes it.
