Super Quickie Easy Industrial Drying Rack
I have been slowly working on my laundry room redo. But I knew I needed something to hang under garments and delicate clothes and I am so happy with this super quick and easy pipe hanger. I have seen many ways to do this but thought I needed to add to the ordinary. Hope you enjoy this cleaver rack.
Had this area over my recycling bin and wanted to put in a drying rack but it was a weird spot. So off to the hardware store. I have made to holders with 1/2 galvanized pipe and flanges. So I had a idea to t it. So I could utilize the little area on the side of cabinet.
I didn’t want to just have a basic pipe coming off the wall so I added a T to give me more room.
I ended doing a T high enough from the recycling bin below and centered so that the cabinet door and back door didn’t infringe on it.
It doesn’t look like much but it actually is very handy. When we come in from hot tub we hang out suits and towels
Here are all the parts I needed it is not cheap to go to local hardware but it is never going to fall apart! I have seen a multi pack of flanges on Amazon.
You will need a flange, I used a 6 inch pipe from wall cause I wanted it to clear my cabinets. You will need a T and two 8 inch pipes and two end caps.
I used 1/2 but you can go smaller. I also used galvanized instead of black. You can find it in the plumbing section. Hope you enjoy and let me know your thoughts.
