Can't find two matching nightstands for your bedroom? Try mixing it up by putting two different nightstands together to create a mismtached pair of nightstands! Get more details and links to the products used on my blog post.
We got these two nightstands at different times, from different places. One was part of a bedroom set from facebook marketplace and the other was given to me. These were great to match up because they are about the same size, and they are the same modern style.
Then I painted them in the prettiest shade of emerald green milk paint. I love to use my paint sprayer, but you can use a brush to paint with milk paint.
Once the paint was dry, I sanded the milk paint down smooth and distressed the edges. Sanding also helped the paint chip in a few places (chippy paint is what milk paint is best known for).
I added fresh new large round knobs that I found at TJ Maxx a while back. They were the perfect finishing touch to these cute little mismatched nightstands.
Even though they are two different pieces, the same paint and hardware makes them look like they belong together and now they do!These cuties sold super fast and our customer is enjoying them in her bedroom. Get more details and links to the products used on my blog post.
