Printable Days of the Week Clothing Tags
Tell me, do YOU have a good routine for helping your kids get dressed in a timely manner? School days in our house (any days really) start early and before we are up for an hour there’s already been an argument about clothes. My son is a breeze as far as getting ready but my daughter has a mind of her own. I know some of you can relate 🙂 This little “mind of her own” causes a few issues when it comes to picking out clothes, especially for school days. This is where the idea for the DIY days of the week clothing tags come in.How to make your own DIY days of the week clothing tags
You need card stock to print these on. Regular paper isn't durable enough. I chose a fun glittery card stock for my daughters days of the week tags.
After you download or create your own days of the week tags (you can find my ), have them printed on a LASER printer. If you print them on an ink jet they will be more likely to rub off. I'm not saying you have to print them on a laser printer, but it would be better.
We own a laser printer, but if you don't, places like office depot will print them for a minimal cost.
After you print them off, cut a small slat on the top of the tag so you can slide it on and off the hanger.
Note; Hindsight I would have only cut the hole out. This way it will have less of a chance to fall off the hanger.
Aren't they cute! I love the little sayings.
After you've printed and cut out the tags, place them on the hangers with a little tape behind the slit.
I love how organized it makes her closet look. The best part? We sit down on Sundays and pick out her outfits for the week and it saves LOADS of time. School mornings have gotten a lot easier now!
I hope this little hack will help your morning routines too! Thanks for reading!

I did this with my kids and I always put together one extra outfit so if they changed their minds on the outfit they could choose the spare instead . The extra outfit made it easier for me ! 😃
