There are so many cleaners and abrasives on the market but they can be harmful to your surfaces and your health. Baking Soda is a safe alternative and it gets the job done and is easy on the wallet. Here’s what it can do to plastic!

The best buy is the larger box.

I always have a few on hand at home. In my kitchen, in my basement and in my bathrooms.

Here’s the plastic chair before.

Pour some baking soda. Approximately, a half cup

A sponge will typically work. Or a soft bristle brush.

Add water. Not very much. Just enough to get the baking soda to move around and create a runny paste.

Move the baking soda around in all kinds of directions. Since this chair has texture, some places required two applications.

More water will have to added as you’re scrubbing.

All clean! I originally tried to clean this chair with dish soap and it was not working! Baking soda helped me save this chair from being trash.

•These steps are also good for use in clearing your sinks and tubs. Baking Soda also works great for tile and grout!

I have several resin chairs I want to paint but they are dirty and grimy. Will have to give this a try

Worth a try! Definitely should help clean them up.

Had build up pretty bad on our outdoor furniture. Turns out our power washer made them like new.

But there are things I’d rather do by hand and will try baking soda for that. Thank you.
