Hi Carolyn you could consider putting up some pegboard, than you can move them around anywhere you like :) Here's a pic I found on image google search. I think command hooks might work as well.

You fix Hooks for each or a Rail and "S" Hooks for many! Fixings are available at DIY stores...
You can add a shelf with hooks or just a board with hooks. They make wall pot racks that would work as well.
