Baking Sheet Advent Calendar

You can find these cuties in your local Dollar General for only $3.You will have to assemble them which takes a little bit of time.

supplies

-baking sheet set from Dollar General (cookie cutters and baking Pan)

-gingerbread advent set from Dollar General

-1 12 x 12 sheet of scrapbook paper

-mini clothespins (red)

-gluegun

-circle type puncher

You will need a little package of tiny clothespins. I found mine at Dollar General as well. You will clip these to the numbers and box once assembled.

I used a fancy punch but you could use fancy scissors even a cutting machine for your decorative backings. I found my scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby. You don’t have to use striped paper but I liked it. I lined up each piece perfectly in my hole punch. I cut out 24.

Now it is time to add the numbers which by the way come with the kit of advent pieces. I alternated the colors red facing up to white facing up.

Now the fun part. Using the clothes pins I attached the numbers in order on the gingerbread houses. I then took the same red and white striped paper and cut straight lines the length of the baking sheet. With my hot glue gun I attached all the houses making sure I spaced them correctly first. Then in between each row,I hot glued a red stipe then next row a white stripe and so on. It gives it a filler and completes the look.

The baking Pan I purchased was a set at Dollar tree it came with a few cookie cutters. I used a couple cookie cutters and hot glued some scrapbook paper that was leftover into the centers of the cookie cutters and glued them on the bottom corner.
