Dollar Tree has these awesome tin planters and greenery out right now! I'm gearing up for spring and was able to put this planter together using ALL Dollar Tree Supplies!

Best Farmhouse planters!

Love this project but don't have the time to make your own? We recommend these budget friendly Farmhouse planters that Amazon reviewers swear by!

Your first step is to paint the tin white. I used chalk paint, but any type of paint will do! It doesn't have to be super thick, just enough to cover the shine.

Use a sanding sponge to lightly buff over the paint giving a more rustic and worn in look.

Use a sharpie to trace over the words on the front giving it a more prominent look.

I grabbed this brain teaser game (also from Dollar Tree) and colored the pieces with my sharpie. You can also paint, but the marker works just as well.

Use a mix media or super glue to adhere the pieces to the bottom of the planter. Make sure the pieces are glued pointy side down.

Make two loop knots with some rope and glue one down on each side making some decorative handles.

Flip over your planter and insert some floral foam. Finally just insert the greenery of your choice. I went with 2 varieties of ferns for a neutral spring look. They really have some great options in stock right now!

I love the look of this and how easy it was to put together! This would make an adorable centerpiece or accent for a table. Now all we need is some warmer weather!
