DIY: Natural Fall Pumpkin Decor
by

A natural twist on a classic fall decor element. These decorated pumpkins are great indoors or outdoors and take advantage of the natural fall elements.
You can either buy white pumpkins or paint them white yourself to add this more modern & fresh look.
Gather a variety of different shapes and coloured fall leaves and pines. Even throw in some fresh green leaves to add some contrasting colour. Be sure they aren't too dry or they will break on you while you're trying to glue them on the pumpkin.
Add a few fall coloured planters, gold painted pumpkins and mason jar candles for a pretty fall styled front porch.
Have fun playing with pattern & colour.

I think your pumpkins are more unique than any others I've seen! I live by woods that have mostly pine trees, with a couple of deciduous trees; mostly Sweet Gum trees and a couple of maples. Do craft stores carry realistic autumn leaves?

I really want to do this with my grandkids. What kind of glue do you use?
