Making MacKenzie-Childs Look-A-Like Pumpkins
by

I have been painting a lot of pumpkins lately. One of my friends asked me to make her some pumpkins with the MacKenzie-Childs patterns. I was a bit hesitant but was so happy I gave this a try. Although the checks were a little time consuming, the pumpkins turned out great.
I want to share these with you because they are just so darn pretty! These are your regular foam pumpkins that you get at Michaels or Walmart. Start by painting them white (except for the black one) and then add black.
Add colors and details.
I used a polyurethane to seal the paint and give them a glossed look.
As soon as these were posted I started to get requests for more. They really are pretty. I've included more details on my blog. Hope to see you there!
