Small Kitchen Makeover
by

Completed for a Client.
Very small kitchen in a basement apartment was expanded by stealing space from the next door bedroom / closet area.
*My motivation to do this project:
Space was so small it was problematic to use.
With the simple addition of some space from the other room. This kitchen is now a "working" kitchen. This was one of the most dramatic remodels I have completed.
*Project Steps:
Demo old kitchen
demo old closet and corner in bedroom
rework plumb + electric
Frame new wall with door
tile + dry wall
add cabinets
tile counters
Tile floor

Kathie taylor on Nov 03, 2013This was a terrific transformation! I would have mounted a shelf above the stove for the microwave, thus getting it off the counter!

Pat S on Nov 03, 2013I think the transformation is great! I personally would get long wood shutters to stand around the water heater or paint peg board and use as decorative space to hang utensils on hooks, towel/pot holders and such... great job!
