Update Old Stairs with Painted Pine Treads and New Risers

This is my latest project in my 1979 fixer-upper house. Just finished adding new painted pine stair treads to the existing rough lumber stairs that were under the old carpet. This is a fairly easy project and coming in around $250 for 25 stairs, really cost effective. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I'll add a runner down the middle later on.
Enjoyed the project?
