I didn't have it in me to ditch my faux-wood laminate shelves, but they also needed a major revamp. I updated the shelves and structure a bit, then painted them white.

Linda Jung on Aug 28, 2015Just remember to always lightly sand any wood before painting. Sanding brings the tiny wood fibers up and the paint adheres better and helps to keep the new paint from peeling later down the road.
