Rustic Christmas Tree

I love to add natural elements into my decor. Weathered wood like barn wood and old pallets add a unique look. You've seen the Christmas trees made from straight boards, but I thought I'd take it one step further and go chevron.
I ripped the barn wood boards in 3" and 4" widths. You can easily use old weathered pallets for the same look.
At varying lengths, cut the one end at 30 deg and the other at 60 deg.
Check the blog post for the cut list.
Glue and nail the first layer of boards to a 1x4.
It's starting to take shape! First layer makes a rough outline of a Christmas tree.
Glue the second layer of boards on top of the first, and that's it. Easy and unique DIY I think it would be fun to add lights to the tree, but I haven't found the right ones yet.
