Red and White DIY Christmas Tree

This Christmas Tree is on my screen porch. It is full of whimsical items that were inexpensive and some DIY's that are easy to make.
Here are some of the ornaments I used - yarn balls. I picked up a bag of ugly balls at my local thrift shop and wrapped each one in yarn - red, white, and gray. This is an inexpensive ornament and is easy enough for a young child to do.
The garland is a sisal rope found at the hardware store. The red and plaid cutout words "BELIEVE" AND "MERRY" were found in the dollar bins at Michaels.
I also found these amazing wooden stars at Michael's last Christmas on clearance. They can be used for so many things, but I left them natural to hang on this outdoor tree. The striped knit mini stockings were picked up at Christmas Tree Shoppe and were also just $1 each.
These little toy soldier cards were added and were also found at Michael's in their Dollar bins.
Lastly, I brought in some red and white checks with these DIY mini embroidery hoop ornaments hung with red yarn.
