Giving a dull blah garden spinner a bright cheerful update!
Getting ready to paint my blah faux verdigris garden spinner.
Pistil painted starting with yellow, then coming back with orange over the lower half.
1st coat of paint on the petals, with the already painted pistil taped off with painters tape.
2nd color on the petals....
3rd coat of color on the petals...
I used a plastic bag to protect from over spray onto the petals while painting the stem on the underside.
There are three layers of green paint on the stand / stem painted in the same way as the petals starting with the lightest green & then over coating with the darker greens.
Finished tulip spinner. Now to get some real flowers growing in the flower bed!
& now that the flowers are coming in......... :)
Enjoyed the project?
