Filing Cabinet to Bar Chic

I got this banged up filing cabinet for $5 at a yardsale. The drawers would not work smoothly and one of the handles was broken.
It was a beige/cream color that was pretty boring so I painted the exterior glossy black and the interior silver. We put in some wooden shelves and then strung lights down the sides of the bottom and the up the front.
Both shelves were tall enough for wine or beer bottles. Doesn't have to be a bar that is just what I envisioned it to be used for.
You can see the green line on the wood, which I am glad did not go away once I stained it. This was wood from an industrial shipping crate so I thought that was pretty cool.
The top is more of our famous reclaimed wood. We scrounge this up from everywhere we can find it. These were scrap pieces from another project because I NEVER throw anything away. It is permanently attached to the cabinet.
Side view of this little beauty. I am so in love with it.

Are the rope lights battery, or are they plugged in thru the back somehow?

I just received 2 filing cabinets and having been racking my brain on how to incorporate it into my home bar. I plan on putting both of them a few feet apart and putting a top on it. Thanks so much for the wonderful idea! What an amazing job! ❤️
