Set the table with DIY derby decor and serve up mint julep granita- an icy take on the classic derby drink
Dollar and Party store finds create an over the top topper to wear or display
horses get a metallic spray paint coat and ribbons in festive jockey colors
pop onto a cardboard tube or wooden dowel and pop into a flower pot with real or faux roses
Faux grass sold by the foot at Lowe's makes a turf tray liner (I bought a few feet and use it for all sorts of party decorations)
