How to Make a "Book Page" Decoupage Dresser
This is a great way to freshen an old piece of furniture. To freshen up our old dresser we used an old book, but any kind of paper would work, so pick one that works with your decor. Really excited to share how I went about making this so let's get right to it!
Materials: Matte Mod Podge, Scissors, Parsons West 2 1/2" sash brush, Nail for puncturing holes for hardware, Dresser was painted in Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Marzipan
First step: Each dresser has drawers of different lengths so I started by taking a rough measure of the height of my dresser and then cut the book page according to that height.
Second Step: I grabbed my paint brushed and dipped it in a little bit of mod podge and spread it across the area underneath where I will place the book page
Third Step: Next, I painted over the page with a coat of mod podge. Notice, how I spread it evenly over the surface to prevent any bumps or bubbles, giving it a beautiful look!
Fourth step: I then repeated this process until the particular drawer was finished.
Fifth step: Remember to put the drawer handles back on! I started by puncturing a small hole where the insert for the handle was on the drawer. Then I reconnected the handle!
After repeating this process for each drawer on the dresser this stunning decoupage dresser was created. So proud of how it came out!

This is gorgeous!! I love the look of things designed with old book pages, but it hurts my heart to recreate it because I'd need to rip pages out of a book! lol
