Old Antique Dresser Brought Back to LIFE!

This was another lucky craigslist find of mine! I have been searching and searching for a dresser with great bones but in need of a little help. I stumbled upon this beauty on craigslist and it happened to be right in my hometown. I had so many moms taxi things to accomplish before I picked it up, but I just had make it before anyone else. The day before I lost an amazing antique desk because I couldn't get there quick enough. I wasn't going to let ut happen again.
There were only a couple of things wrong with the veneer but it didn't bother me much and I decided to make small repairs. The top needed to be redone, with rings and other stains but it was overall solid and the drawers work smoothly and the drawer pulls were amazing!
I chalk painted it in haystack and distressed it quite a bit. I had a ton of fun with the waxing and distressing this piece.
I also added very subtle stenciling and sanded over it to make it light and barely noticeable. It just was calling for something extra special!

Well, here are the results which I just love! I say this every time but I really may keep this one.
