A Craigslist Freebie!
I love free furniture!
I found this cedar lined blanket chest on Craigslist in the Free section. It was in pretty good shape except for some scratches on the top. I did not care. I knew I was going to paint it anyway?
I painted it with a custom mix of three Americana Decor chalk paints: Treasure, Primitive and New Life. I call the color Sea Glass.
It never ceases to amaze me what a little bit of paint can do to bring something completely current.
Now it's a great coffee table!
