Banana Leaf Table

I for one always want change, I just can’t paint one thing and let it be.
Always want to switch things up a bit.
Hence this table went through another makeover.
The first one you guys can see here.
I’ve been seeing a lot of Banana Leaf pattern in alot of cafes in LA and I was in love with how bright and cheery it looked!
So of course I wanted it in my life.
And Cutting Edge Stencils was on top of their game as they had the exact Banana Leaf Stencil which I had in mind.
I ordered it right away!
For this project the colors that I chose were two shades of Green.
The darker shade I used on the legs of table.
The lighter shade I used on the upper half .
I used the same drawer pulls but just painted it Gold with Liquid Gold Gilding.
I gave the table two coats until it was fully covered.
And let it completely dry before stenciling it.
I went in with the Banana Leaf Stencil using the darker shade of green.
I did have to flip the table on the side and lay it down completely to stencil the sides and the front.
A little wait and patience was involved in this project. Not my strongest suit
But the table turned out exactly how I wanted.
What do you guys think?
Enjoyed the project?

Okay so I love this! I also love green! Thanks for the inspiration. I am going to have to get this stencil and try it on my bedroom curtains.
