GIVING THE INSIDE OF MY CABINET A MAKEOVER!

This cabinet at one time was a honey colored pine Armoire that was used to hang clothes in it at one time. I never thought back then to take a before photo. It was with my husbands when we got married. This is going back about 9 years now when I had the idea to take a chance on redoing the outside first not even thinking about the inside.
I took this picture in basement !
This was my first big project I did many years ago, this was new to me but I saw it at a workshop so I wanted to do it. I painted the whole cabinet first then I applied a Min wax stain over it just doing it in small sections then quickly wiping it off. It gives it an aged look . You can see the crown molding we added on top, and we added the feet to raise it up and I stained them.
INSIDE THE CABINET BEFORE WE DID WORK.
ADDING FIRST PLYWOOD.
My husband geofftheelectrician added plywood first, the walls were so thin he needed to have them built up in order to apply the pine board after.
He has now installed the pine board, that seam will be covered with shelves. I primed it first, then I painted it.
I wanted it to look weathered, so I used a stain called classic gray, and I dry brushed over it with a white color to tone it down.
My husband cut out the door panels and installed chicken wire!
I bought the hardware at Home Depot and spray painted it. I wanted to add some interest to the shelves, giving it an old look.
Here it is complete I still have to organize the inside for storage yet!
