make the legs of the bench

need

use

2x4 corner brackets for fixing

upper part of the bench

need

3x 3,8x3,8x32,4cm | 1,5x1,5x12,75in

and use

corner fixing brackets here as well (12+4pcs)

join

the legs to the upper part of the bench

the last 9 timbers in equal spaced

and fix

them with screws

make

the bench stronger with the help of 4 long screw

stain work

and the last step

fix

the top with nails

Is anyone in to Cedar chest anymore? You don't have to make them from Cedar......any wood will do, but they buy cedar chips and keep them in the chest. I

Please for your safety..and others..you need to remind people 2 wear safety glasses. And pull their hair out of their way unless they have real short hair. Most people know that but when you add material to your list always when working with wood nails screws machinery..on your list..be sure to add that as well .. because some people..might for get..or not even think about it.. your bench is adorable and I definitely would like to make one .. you did a beautiful job. Thank you very much for sharing.

  I’am with you on the safty glasses, and the hair. A gal in shop class didn’t get her hair pulled back.....and the saw took off hair and a bit of skin as well. The hair didn’t grow back.
