Christmas Joy Sign

I know there are lots of joy signs out there. I too have been eying them and wanting to create one for myself. Here is my take on this great reminder sign!
I wanted a rustic look, so I took two boards and wood glued them together. You could start with a board already this width. I painted and stained my boards to create a little color and worn look.
I used some pressed cardboard letters to give my sign a 3D dimensional look, with the letters a little raised. I used wood glue to attach them on with clamps.
While the clamps helped the letters dry, I painted my letters and stuck some berries into my vine wreath.
I used nails to hold the wreath on my sign.
I love how it turned out! I might just pull out the berries and use this sign in my house all year. We can use joy at other times of the year, right!? For more pictures and in depth explanation, check out my blog post!
