We started using an all natural laundry detergent that has no scent.. I love that it’s better for our family, but unfortunately I missed the smell of fresh laundry! So, I made this laundry scent booster to add to our wash to give it a natural and wonderful smell!
All you’ll need is Epsom salt, baking soda, essential oils of your choice, and a glass jar with a lid.
Add 1 1/2 cup Epsom salts and baking soda 1/2 cup to your jar.
Add 20-30 drops of an essential oil of your choice. I used 30 drops of citrus fresh.
Mix thoroughly to incorporate the essential oils.
When you need to use some, just put 1-2 tablespoons straight into the washer drum.

I have gotten essential oil on my clothes before and have an oil stain on 2 of my garments. Will this cause any stains? I never quite understand using oil for clothing scents.

Please answer this question before I make this.

Does the essential oils stain the clothing.

They won't as long as you mix the oils well. Don't over do it with them. And make sure you add them BEFORE the cloths. I think I will be dissolving in a at jar shaking the dickens out of it then pouring in WASHER deluged BEFOR the cloths just to be on the safe side.

Oh my that's a quart jar.. dissolved HAHAHA I think I need to check what this auto spell thing is saying before I hit answer this next time.
