So I came up with this brilliant glass bottle candle holder idea and thought I would share how I made it with you all. This was so easy to make and you can change it up and make them however ever you want. It’s a simple diy but really effective.

bottle candle holder

This is the bottle I used. It’s a old rum bottle. You could use any bottle you wanted to though.

Firstly, I got some scatter crystals and poured these in the bottle so they were at the bottom. They were from my local dollar store. You can get them anywhere though.

Next I put some stones in to mix it up a bit. You can get these from anywhere.

I added some fake flowers and put them into the bottle.

Lastly I decided I wanted to get the effect of everything being underwater so I poured some water inside and filled the bottle.

Finished!!

I added a taper candle and there you have it. A beautiful glass candle holder. Taper candles fit perfectly in most glass bottles which makes them perfect for candle holders. What I like about this is that you could do so much and make loads of different ones with different coloured flowers or stones in for example.

Is there something better than water that can be used? Water evaporates and leaves mineral rings.
