Make an Easter Banner

I love paper crafts because it gives me a chance to use up my neglected scrapbook supplies. I might never finish that baby book, but I can make a cute garland!

Gather your supplies. I used floral scrapbook paper, bakers twine and an old book.

Choose colors that will contrast against your background. (The yellow floral is a bit pale against the book page background. I still like how it turned out, but it's something to consider.)

I used my silhouette to cut out my bunnies. A 12" sheet can fit 4 bunnies.

For the background, I used pages from an old book. Gently rip them out use a paper cutter to trim the edges.

Gently fold the paper in half and cut out triangles at the bottom. (My 8' garland needed 10 of these.)

Use a hold punch to add holes at the top of each corner so that you can hang your garland.

Add glue to the bunny and attach it to the book page.

The bunnies sit on the pages at an angle, like they're hopping.

Add string through the holes in the garland.

Hang and enjoy.
