Part of setting a beautiful table is the napkins. Add some sweet charm to your tabletop with these easy to make paper bunnies, plain white cotton napkins, various ribbons, and some wooden clothespins decorated with craft paint polka dots made with a pencil eraser.

Sweet and Simple – the perfect kind of table setting in my opinion.

I'll be using a colorful china pattern for this year's Easter dinner and so wanted to add something to the table setting that will help to bring out some of the muted tones of the china without being overwhelming.

I'll be using the simple supplies below to create the clothespin napkin ornaments.

Supplies:

Plain White Cloth Napkins

Traditional Wooden Clothespins

Craft Paint

Craft Ribbons

Pencil with Eraser

I chose a plain set of white cotton napkins as the base for this fun design.

I searched my craft stash and decided to use some colorful ribbon, matching paints, old-fashioned clothespins and a bunny cut out from a water-colorish scrapbook paper that matched my color scheme. I used my Cricut to cut the bunnies in no time using a bunny template from Cricut Access.

How-To Add Polka Dots to the Clothespins

For the clothespins, I used a pencil eraser to add colorful polka dots by simply dipping the tip of the eraser into the paint and then gently stamping the eraser tip onto each clothespin in a random pattern. Once stamped, I allowed the clothespins to dry before moving on to the next step.

Once dry, I gathered the clothespins, ribbon, napkins and, bunnies and assembled them.

I tied different colored ribbons about one-third of the way down each napkin having the bow or tie to one side. I then placed the clothespin over the ribbon and used it to hold a paper rabbit in place. The paper rabbits can be used as place settings by simply adding names across them.
