I hated throwing away perfectly good packing paper. So I recycled it into gift wrap.

You can use this as wrapping paper crumbled or ironed flat
On very low heat setting steam paper flat of the ironing board (or use crinkled)
Example of crinkled and ironed paper
Cut to the needed size
Wrap as usual
Use your (or children's) creativity to decorate with paint, stickers, crayon, markers, beads and/or ribbons.
Suggested materials:
  • Packing paper, any kind of pieces of twine, ribbon, stickers, markers, paint   (free)
  • Crayons, markers or any decorating ideas   (free)

    Good tip. I reuse brown wrapping paper and brown paper bags to wrap boxed items I sell on Ebay. Saves the cost of shipping a box within a box. Only fragile items get a box within a box.
