Crochet Gnome Cork Peg Doll Ornament

I'd been fascinated by the adorable gnome dolls all over Pinterest and really wanted to create my own. And what better place for them then hidden on a Christmas tree?
This is a photo of my finished gnome. I crochet the body and hat, and used a bit of felt for his scarf.
Instead of buying wooden peg dolls, I made my own using wooden beads and wine corks. Yay for repurposing! The wooden beads were flat on the bottom.
The snowflake wings were stickers that I hot-glued onto the back of the gnome, and his eyes are just little dots made with a permanent marker!
