I bought supplies to make this wreath from the $1 Store. I picked up a 14" wire frame, 2 packages of wired garland - 15' each, 2 large red bells with a bit of greenery & small pinecones on them, Florist wire, a package of small red bells. $7 for the supplies. I also used some older pinecones & garland bough that I had on hand from other projects.

Supplies for the wreath

Although I have not created a wreath before, this one was soooooo easy to do!  To attach the garland to the frame, I cut it into smaller pieces, approximately 18" each.  Securing them to the frame was easy, I just bent the end over the outside ring of the frame then wrapped it from the front of the frame, through the center and around the back.  I figured it would be nice to have the back wrapped in case I wanted to use it in a window. As I was wrapping the garland around the frame, I scrunched each section close to the previous to make sure there were no sparse places.

Wreath with the two packages of 15' garland. There was no need to add additional garland except that I had it on hand.

Since I had some wire garland left over from the tiny Christmas tree project, I decided to use it up. That garland was in a bough form so I cut off the little pieces and then stuffed them into the garland that was already on the frame, bending the ends around that garland to hold them in place.

While it was not necessary to add the extra little pieces of garland, I do like the look and since I already had it on hand, it was no extra cost.

The bow came with it's own wire so attaching it to the wreath was easy

I used florist wire to attach the two large bells and the pinecones

The wreath looked great this way but I went ahead and added the small red bells.

I used a hot glue gun to add the small bells.

Since I wrapped the frame with the garland, the back is covered so you can hang the wreath in a window.

I'm really happy with how this wreath came out! And to get it done for under $10 was great!
